Mikado set of 41 pick-up-sticks

 

A simple set of pick-up-sticks, or "Mikado", for light-hearted and exciting competition between 2 or more players.

 

Great for kids - learn focus, concentration and patience while developing your fine motor skills as they play. Learn to balance risk and reward - go for a risky, high value stick and potentially lose your turn? Or pick up a lower value stick on the top of the pile and take home the sure value.Teach kids counting and adding as the game goes on.

 

Sticks and storage box are made from all-nautral and environmentally-friendly bamboo, and the sticks come blunted and smoothed, for a durable, safe and long-lasting game set.

 

The points for each stick are distributed as follows:

 

Blue Spiral stick, the "Mikado" (1 stick total) for 20 points,

Blue - Red - Blue sticks (5 sticks total) for 10 points each,

Red - Blue - Red - Blue - Red sticks (5 sticks total) for 5 points each,

Red - Yellow - Blue sticks (15 sticks total) for 3 points each,

Red - Blue sticks (15 sticks total) for 2 points each,
