The gigantic Vauen Cavalier in a flame-grain red finish. The Enzian comes apart in 4 pieces, for easier cleaning, and can trap moisture in its pointed bottom bend. A unique periscope-shaped mouthpiece helps hold the pipe  securely between the teeth.

 

The Enzian measures 11 inches high, but is only 4.25 inches wide from the front of the bowl to the tip of the mouthpiece.

 

Don't be fooled by the "Dunhill" dot on the stem! For a time, Vauen and Dunhill both used the dot as a trademark and as a means of distinguishing pipes made with the highest quality briar. Today, Dunhill has the right to market "white dot" pipes outside of Germany and Austria, and Vauen has the right to market them inside.

 

This pipe comes with Vauen's signature filter, the 9mm Dr. Perl Jr. with activated charcoal.
